Design of 3D NOC for Efficient Multicast Communication Based on Hamiltonian Path Routing

In the NOC technology three dimensional integrated circuits offer greater device integration. In the network on chip technology the communication can be done by node routers. As well as the number of hops should be very less inorder to reduce the signal delay and power. They also provide greater design flexibility by allowing heterogeneous integration. In order to exploit the intrinsic capability of reducing the wire length in 3D ICs, 3D NoCBus Hybrid mesh architecture was proposed. This architecture provides a seemingly significant platform to implement e f f i c ien t multicast routings for 3D networks-on-chip. In this paper, we propose hybrid architecture using hamitonian path based algorithm it f inds shortest path between source node to the destination node . As well as implementing the DMA controller to improve the speed of the transaction. This is suitable for multicast communication in the networks.
